  The entire Parkside Pediatrics practice, including the Breastfeeding Center in Greenville has been vital to the care and support we have received for our first child since birth, with multiple doctor and lactation consultant visits to get things started right. We didn't get the help we needed in the hospital to breastfeed successfully and had a scary, rough start. We had several challenges to overcome and our baby's weight dropped to dangerous levels within days of birth. If it weren't for the multiple visits with Lactation Consultant Beth V., we would have given up breastfeeding and our son would have been hospitalized. They spent several hours with us at each visit, never rushing us out and always answering all questions. Their help is invaluable! Breastfeeding is not easy - there is so much to it and every case is different- they are trained to spot things and set you up with a plan of action specific to you. The LC's really do care about empowering you to successfully feed your baby. They follow up to make sure things are working out too- they don't just leave you hanging. Thanks to their work with us and repeated visits with a new game plan each time to work out all the issues we encountered with breastfeeding, our son re-gained weight at record speed (13 oz. in 5 days then 8 more oz in 2 more days!). I can't imagine how we would have managed without Parkside behind us. It is so refreshing to find professionals that still enjoy and excel at what they do! Thank you!!!

  They are amazing! Any time I have any question or concern, they always respond quickly and kindly. No question is too much or ridiculous. They even called me a few days after a health concern to check on me. I would recommend them to any nursing mom!
